EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024

TO CURRENT EXISTING AND PROSPECTIVE POTENTIAL NEW CLIENTS:

Attorney Howard G. Skolnick will be limiting the scope and hours dedicated to the practice of law and transition to engagement in the part-time practice of law commencing January 1, 2024.

He will be limiting his hours of operation, and the scope of new matters which he will consider accepting. He will no longer be accepting contested family law matters. His law practice will henceforth be accepting friendly, uncontested family law cases, uncontested probate cases, and solely family-based (no employment-based) immigration law cases. He will continue to prepare and draft Advance Directives such as small estate Wills, Financial and Medical Powers of Attorney, Medical Record Releases, and Directives to Physician (a/k/a Living Wills). His Advance Directives drafting will not include documents pertaining to Estate Planning (i.e., Trusts, etc. to avoid Estate and Gift Tax), or Elder Law to protect assets and limit expenditures related to residence in long-term nursing home or assisted living facilities.
